Stamping 411 Challenge

I love having the time to participate in some of the great online card challenges, and summer is my time to do that so I turned to one of my favorites today.  The Stamping 411 website is a great inspiration for me so here is my take on this week's challenge.  I used Whisper White, Real Red and Basic Black along with the new Delicate Doilies stamp set which will be in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.  I embossed white on black and black on white and added an antique brad and a 1/8" real red taffeta bow for this one.  I also used the Polka Dot embossing folder for the background and finished it off with Happy Birthday from Tiny Tiny Wishes embossed in black and punched with the Word Window Punch.  Enjoy!

  1. Laura -- I love how you did the medallion on this card -- mixing it up with the black and white and the pop of red is genius! Great job! Thanks so much for playing along this week at Stamping 411! Blessings, Gretchen
