I love this set but don't use it often enough so I pulled it out to create a card for the Stamping 411 Sketch this week and used the stripe paper from the Just Add Cake DSP. Enjoy the rest of the week.
I hope your week is starting out well. I decided to take on two challenges at once in this card--the Create With Connie and Mary Color Challenge 167 and a new one I found last week called Stampin Queen's Sketch Challenge I pulled out the Day of Gratitude stamp set as we had a little frost the other night so some of the leaves are beginning to turn already and Cajun Craze and Old Olive worked nicely into this card along with the neutral Basic Grey.
Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude Card Stock: Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Markers: Cajun Craze and Old Olive
Other: White grossgrain, antique brad, perfect polka dot embossing folder
We're having our first fall day in Minnesota so I thought it would be fitting to use Gently Falling for my submission to the Stamping 411 challenge this week. I love this color combination--Pool Party, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip and More Mustard. This is the first time I purchased the Stampin' Up! fabric, and I am loving the way it looks. It can be used like ribbon but doesn't have the bulkiness that sometimes occurs with ribbon and costs extra postage to mail. The Petitie Pairs is a new set for me, and I am really enjoying it's flexibility. Enjoy!
Stamp Sets: Gently Falling, Petite Pairs
Card Stock: More Mustard, Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake DSP
Stamp Pads: Pool Party, Chocolate Chip
Other: Small Oval Punch (retired), Large Oval Punch, Extra-Large, Oval Punch, Hemp Twine, Spice Cake Designer Fabric
I continue to grab the Delicate Doilies stamp set on a regular basis. I just love the many different looks you can achieve with it. This card was submitted for the Create With Connie and Mary Challenge 166 and uses Soft Suede, Marina Mist, and Blushing Bride. The polka dot ribbon was an accident about a year ago. I left my black stamp pad open and apparently had a piece of melon mambo polka dot ribbon stretched across it. It absorbed all that black ink and presented itself as soft suede!
