It's finally here, and it is a work of art. Stampin' Up! continues to amaze me with their beautiful images, excellent creativity and superb quality. Friends Never Fade--Sneak Peak

Here is another post using one of the countless new stamp sets Stampin' Up! is featuring in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog which will be availble tomorrow. This set is called Friends Never Fade. It is a set of four images for $13.95 (clear mount) or 17.95 (wood mount). The decorative paper includes some of the new colors--Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, and Baja Breeze. To make this card, you will cut card stock using the following dimensions: Pear Pizzazz (5 1/4" by 4 1/4") Whisper White (4" by 10 1/2"--fold in half and then fold the front back to meet the first fold line), Chocolate Chip (2 3/8" by 3 3/4") Greenhouse Gala DSP (2 1/8" by 3 1/2") Pumpkin Pie (1 7/8" by 3") Whisper White (2" by 2 1/2"--stamp the image and then trim around the border). The vertical lines on the right side of the card are just pieces of card stock cut 1/2" by 4". This fold can be used with so many different stamp sets. Stop back tomorrow to see the new catalog! Because I Care--Sneak Peak

The 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog is set to debut on July 1. I do have a copy of the catalog, and it is full of wonderful new stamping images, beautiful decorative papers and accessories along with some great new colors. This card is stamped with one of the new Level One hostess sets called Because I Care. This hydrangea is so beautiful and offers endless opportunities for watercoloring and a dimensional look. I'll be posting some other samples with this set in the days ahead.

Stampin' Up! New Color Palette

Stampin' Up! recently announced that starting July 1, 2010 there will be a new color palette in the catalog. You will have to say goodbye to some of your and my favorites, welcome back some of the past in-colors from previous years, and say hello to some great new shades. Take a look at the color chart below and remember that you can still get paper, ink refills, markers, etc. of those favorites you will have to say goodbye to at the end of June. Christmas Card Box

This card box was inspired by a project by Andrea Walford. Real Red card stock and Christmas Cocoa Specialty designer series paper was used to create this box I also used the Serene Snowflake stamp set and the real red classic stamp pad to stamp the snowflake on the card box and note cards as well as the medallion. The scallop circle punch was used in conjunction with the Sahara Sand card stock and the 1 3/8" punch with real red card stock to frame the snowflake medallion. Use a little Dazzling Diamonds glitter to add some sparkle.
