I always love to use the color combination of red, black and white, and this card just lent itself well to that color scheme. I was inspired by the design at Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 263 and decided to utilize a few of my new Stampin' Up! products.
I started with a basic black base and added real red embossed with the new Fancy Fan Embossing folder. I used Versamark and black or white embossing folder to stamp each layer of the new Daydream Medalloions stamp set. I used the new Floral Frames Framlet to cut out each piece of the Daydream Medallions and finished off the smallest layer with a red brad. I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes to stamp the greeting and punched it out with the word window and modern label punch.
Enjoy!

Papaya Collage and Stamping 411 Challenge
Now that school is out, I have a bit more time to stamp and actually post to my blog. Today I decided to turn to inspiration from the group at Stamping 411. The Sketch Challenge they provide on a weekly basis is always great to get the creative juices flowing. I decided to use one of the stamp sets from the 2012-2013 Idea Book and Catalog called Papaya Collage. I love its vintage look, and I am somewhat challenged when it comes to grasping that look in my cards so here's my attempt. Enjoy!
Stamp Sets: Papaya Collage, Petite Pairs
Card Stock: Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Very Vanilla
DSP: Comfort Cafe
Stamp Pads: Minight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Cajun Craze
Other: Pearl Basic Jewels, Whisper White 3/8" Taffetta
I'll be featuring this card at an upcoming workshop so any feedback you might have would be greatly appreciated.
Have a wonderful day!

The Stampin' Up! Retirement List is Here!
The Stampin' Up! annual retirement list was released today, and there are over 300 sets that will be retiring as of May 31, 2012. Check out the long list, and be sure to order those sets that you have been wanting to get before time runs out.
The Summer Smooches promotion is continuing during the month of April. I just love the bright colors featured in the Designer Series Paper, and the fabric brads are only available until the end of the month. They won't be in the new Idea Book and Catalog.

Sprinkled Expressions Valentine
Basic Grey, Blushing Bride, and Whisper White are featured in this card layout along with the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper from the Occassion Mini Catalog. The stamp set (Sprinkled Expressions) is available free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. I used lots of puches on this card including the label punch, the scallop circle punch, the 1 3/ 8" circle punch, the mini heart punch, the triple heart punch and the punch. I also used the blushing bride ribbon with the white edging. This design can be used with each of the stamp images from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set. Watch for another version of this same card in the next few days.

Apothecary Art Stamp Set
I just love this new set--Apothecary Art--in the Occassion mini catalog, and the new lable framelets die with its various sizes is a perfect companion accessory for this stamp set. I embraced the polka dots of this particular image when I embossed it in white and used the polka dot embossing folder on the Elegant Eggplant frame as well as the whisper white card front. I finished it off with some black polk dot ribbon I recently purchased from the Stampin' Up! clearance rack. Enjoy!

Apothecary Art
The new Occasions Mini Catalog is filled to the brim with some beautiful stamp sets, decorative paper and some new embossing tools. One of my favorite new sets is called Apothecary Art and goes perfectly with the new Labels Collection Framelits. I combined those two items with the Twitterpated Designed Series and the Adorning Accents Edgelit Die on my
envelope and card, and here is what I came up with.
My color scheme is Blushing Bride, Whisper White and Baja Breeze. I used the Stazon to stamp the image and greeting and used my markers (Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzaz) to add some color.
Enjoy!
